They're managing other people's money, as a consequence bound by rules and percentage allocations, even if they believe the SP is going up, they need to limit risk by not over allocating to one stock. They'll most likely use the proceeds to buy more of one of their holdings that is down at the moment, or put it into something else.
Honestly not a concern from my POV.
