If you read his 249P, provided before the capital return annoucement, you can see the return offered was Troy's idea. This deal is a result of the 249d, so why would TH trash his own deal?

Remember up till that point the board wanted to return 20m to people who accepted a buyback at a price between 17-19c. This effectively created 2 class of holders and could result in control transferring to persons with smaller holdings.

TH brought about equity, fairness and timeliness in the deal. I believe his nominated directors will finally bring clarity around TSI. If value can be fund in the shell, I trust them to bring it about in an equal, fair and timely manner.
