I disagree, if you look at IOU announcing (as an example) Bank Muamalat Berhad then the majority of shareholders would be going hang on a second they have 1/20 of the total assets of CIMB or 1/30 of the total assets of Maybank (as at financials 2014). This is a material announcement whilst we know there is a bank in the wings we don't know their size and influence on the Malaysian financial system / market.
Just my thoughts.
