I know it seems like forever our ‘USA Apple Pie has been baking in the oven’ but it seems now, that we are almost done with the ‘baking’.
There has always been a reason for everything & now with some pretty clear timelines for 2021, including this latest data (Ph2 with Janssen) that will allow for a CDx if positive & I do agree with
@katy here, that the results are already known & awaiting peer review (I think this is why the Dec 21 timeline for FDA Approval estimate, if you look at June 21 Quarter for Janssen/PIQ Ph2 readout & FDA timelines, it makes sense) & with what we already have from Ph1, & what we can compare to now (RenalytixAI); I don’t think that $10 per slice of the pie is out of the question at all, in fact under estimated, but I guess you never want to set the bar too high, or count your chickens before they hatch.
PIQ have not put a foot wrong in this journey. I have always thought this would happen, we were all really excited to reach the $1.00 milestone after many ups & downs. But I think this year, we are all due for some much bigger Congratulations & Celebrations.
That will be a really good feeling for many of the LTH here, because it has required a lot of patience, ups & downs, but a strong belief in what we have invested in here has prevailed over some challenging times, the Market can be so fickle.
Our global patent coverage is exceptional & I believe enviable to our competitor/s. PIQ are all over it & also hold a patent in the USA on drug development using our biomarkers for PD.
This is something that hasn’t really been mentioned much here, but it is a huge value add for the company. China have one of the biggest population of DKD sufferers globally, & I know we focus a lot on the USA, the all important FDA approvals, but look into the Asian market as well & our patent coverage there (particularly China & India (patent pending in India). India are in crisis trying to cover dialysis for CKD/DKD patients. My research also covers across DXB as well & so that can also be helpful to us here on PIQ.
There are a lot of collaborations going on between Big Pharma, Tier 1 Diagnostics & Chinese Big Pharma. It’s definitely worth looking into on a rainy Sunday.
