It's called following the trend with a strict set of buy and sell criteria. There was no FOMO as FOMO is an emotional reaction which is what this forum is full of. Monkey minds!
As an example I bought $PENN at $43 last August when a couple of weeks earlier it was $27. It's now $132.
When the trend changes, I will sell. No thought required. I didn't get the bottom, and I won't get the top. But I will always have my account balance heading up over the longer term
As we only make money when price is going up, I've no idea why anybody would want to hitch a lift on a stock heading in the wrong direction. Well I kind of do know but that's up for people to learn for themselves.
