I suggest you trawl back to mid last year and have a look at the September quarter 2008, where they show a map of their stage 2 drilling step-out. I would say they will add around 130Mt of material, in Inferred JORC category. They will also bring some of their existing material into Indicated - probably only 90-150M. however, that would be sufficient for 30 years mine life anyway.

I personally don't get hung up on the absolute magnitude of the resource. The lujavrite is mapped over an area of 5 x 10km and regional wilcatting holes have shown it is a solid (faulted) sheet of material intruded under the whole area. So, all up, several billion tonnes.

This becomes a meaningless number. Most projects will sink or not within the first couple of years of mining. If they do a 10Mt per annum Rossing-esque mine, 450Mt will give them 40 years mine life. 5 billion will give their great-great-grandchildren a mining future. but who cares about our ancestors, they will be hippies driving priuses if they can afford the petrol.

So, to my mind, we should be more concerned with GGG completing a satisfactory metallurgical flowsheet by June-July or even December, and moving to a pilot scale processing facility in 2010-2011, to prove the viability of the method ahead of, say, 2012-13 kickoff.
