Ann: Imagion receives CSIRO grant for prostate cancer project, page-16

Imagion Biosystems is pleased to announce it is a proud recipient of an Innovations Connections grant from the Australian Government’s Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources.

Awarded as part of the funding program delivered by the CSIRO, the $50,000 grant will be used to support preclinical research between Imagion and Monash University’s Biomedicine Discovery Institute – to develop an early proof of concept use for MagSenseTM as a prostate cancer imaging agent.

Imagion will look to use this data in further R&D, as the Company seeks to potentially address a clearly unmet medical need for a non-invasive bio-safe diagnostic technology in the $6.2 Billion (2019) prostate cancer market.
