The crews i contract to do all the stump grinding. Some come in with the grinder, the same day i am doing the tree, and other crews come around later in the week to do it. I used to own one, but its like watching paint dry, so i sold it. I like swinging around like a crazy person with a tiny chainsaw. I also like knowing where the potential hazards are. You deal with a lot of random junk under stumps. Star pickets, pipes, etc. Not for me. That tree shown above had a pool pump, dead centre of the stump. Glad i was long gone when the boys cut into that one.
