There is quite a bit of preclinical FTO Bisantrene data now out of City of Hope in multiple cancer in two high quality publications.

The thing that give me most confidence in the COH preclinical data is Bisantrene behaved the same way towards FTO as the gene knockdown experiments. What makes this so important is almost all the work done in regards the importance of FTO in cancer by different scientists has been done with gene knockdowns. This gives me a lot of confidence that the FTO work done with knockdowns will translate across Bisantrene.

Where this gets very exciting is the melanoma and clear cell renal cell carcinoma preclinical FTO studies underpinning our plans were done using gene knockdowns. I am very hopeful we will be able to replicate this work using Bisantrene and quickly move into the clinic with the two proof-of-concept FTO Phase II trials.
