considering this is actually already priced at a very good premium per Mw installed... IMO - not sure there will be higher offers... it is a very good pipeline though....
effectively already done the deal at twice what IFN sold for... and it sold for more than Twiggy got Windlab for - but it did have Kennedy Windfarm, which was plauged with grid connectivity issues, which it appeared Windlab had to pay to resolve.
This deal (IMO) is more of a convenient way for the two current holders (IFT & MCY) to get what they wanted from TLT...
IFT wanted their cash back to reduce debt / invest in higher RoR investments
MCY already had PPAs for the NZ windfarm output... so they get the underlying assets so that they don't have a debacle like AGL suffered with Coopers Gap & Silverton... whereby assets were sold into PowAR with high priced PPAs to ensure full offtake - problem being that the NEM spot price ended up being significantly lower than the PPA price - resulting in 1 billion + writedown in assets...
