What makes 1801 results outstanding. How does it compare to current approved treatment?
- Eradication rates of 76% were very high
- BOT has proven no resistence from MRSA
- Plus its safe
- Can't compare to other drugs as trials are 35 years old. Would require head to head comparison. However, 1801 is in the same efficacy range with much safer profile. Destiny Pharma trial most recent comparable trial (including antiseptic wash) only achieved 41.7% eradication by day 6 and 0% at day 14.
Were you concerned with quick recolonisation of staph?
- Recolonisation is typical due to many factors including patients reinfecting themselves. particulalry with antiseptic wash missing from the trial requirements.
How will you position the company for commercialisation including phase 3 costs?
- BOT advantage is experience within the team. They have the skillsets to commercialise the products themselves, raise capital or partner. Options are wide open
