Nice to see oil just topped $61 US a barrell. Oil prices moving higher may be the incentive Shell need. Also of interest is the diminishing oil reserves. Watched an interview a couple of days ago that stated the Gulf of Mexico was producing 2.5 mil barrells a day 3 years ago & is now pumping only about 0.5 mill which is failing fast. This was one of the biggest oil reserves outside of the middle east, so I'm sure some of the majors out there are looking for sites with huge potential, so there may be other players queing up after Shell, as it was my understanding Shell was not the only major with interest.
