It is a possibility that carries some thought I would agree as a mere layperson in the tech space.
Key differentiator and ergo markseting point of sale with this thing appears to be the spee d. The fact that it scales, stacks, stores and stays while manufactured on any standard bench is a multi bonus.
But it is the Usain Bolt like speed tht allows it to park next to. DRAM on a performance comparative basis and yet could sell at 1/5th the cost to make.. Before slashing operation costs due to far less heat radiation requiring mass cooling..
And it is also the speed that makes it far superior to flash as it can run to terabytes in size yet still scorch the read write latency targets without error correction and increase retention by several magnitudes at a comparable production cost
It covers a lot of large and small bases avross a huge market and is patent protected..
The dige appear to have been grooming but there are plenty who would like a seat at the table and a piece of yhe pie you could argue. IMO
