May be a silly idea but northern NSW seems to get massive amounts big rain every second year with the Inland having regular droughts.
Why isn't the federal or state governments looking at piping some of this water into the interior for a wide variety of uses?
Including mining makes sense as a great project but must be a reason it is not considered?
