Right, and torrenting is also illegal and has been entirely stamped out. TBH outlawing it would be a foolish mistake. Bitcoin isn't anonymous and would actually make it easier to identify crime networks. The crypto coins focused on privacy like Monero have been delisted from some exchanges because they actually present a money laundering/crime threat... surprise surprise it is still around and in use.
