This is wandering way off topic but the big difference between AVZ management then and now is that Klaus was only there to try and sell the company whereas current management have the goal of producing so the focus has changed from short to long term.

The other thing I like about Scott is his sense of "fairness". He's trying to do the right thing by the shareholders and the government and the people and is looking to how the company can give back to the country when they are in a position to do so. A lot of companies are like that but sadly, there are still too many who are out to exploit as much as they can for their own gain without any sense of balance.
