There was a time only months ago now when on my lazy Sunday mornings I could Google ‘Spiking Convolutional Neural Networks’ without any time restrictions and the odd new article would come up for me to read with my coffee.
That has slowly changed and I started to restrict my searching to the last 12 months until today I am restricting the search to the last month and this morning there are more than forty articles that look interesting and could be read. Just like the one at the following link which relates to using Spiking Neural Networks to identify skin cancers with 95% accuracy:
https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2021CSF...14410714T/abstract
While I obviously have not read the more than forty articles the majority seem to have some reference to Spike Timing Dependent Plasticity or the JAST learning rules.
As long term investors will attest this academic interest and acceptance of the value of SNN and JAST definitely did not exist at this scale as recently as 2018.
In everything there is a tipping point where a series of small actions come together to cause change. In my opinion Brainchip is riding the tipping point of acceptance of AKIDA technology.
The numbers of overseas posters on our little HC site who have heard of Brainchip, the proliferation of articles and papers from around the globe referencing the type of technology and STDP, even Alex the rocket scientist who came to Brainchip via his own means divorced from any promotion undertaken by Brainchip, the admission by Intel of the flaws in their original approach all evidence the fact that the technology acceptance balance has tipped in AKIDA’s favour.
Over the coming weeks the share price will do what it will but the stars are aligned and long term holders will in my opinion be rewarded for their foresight and belief.
I know Tech loves the company must be a NZ thing but I certainly admire those in the company who have persevered and maintained their belief in the science so as to bring Brainchip to his point.
There is now huge amounts of research that you can find easily using Google so remember the above is but one anonymous posters opinion so DYOR.
My opinion only DYOR.
