There is no doubt that EV's will be important in the years to come, however I'll be sticking with my ICE sports cars.

I hear that Porsche is giving graphite a miss, as Porsche has become one of the largest backers of silicon in anodes for EVs. The Porsche company said silicon provided big advantages over graphite with the capacity to store ten times more lithium ions and with a weight reduction.
There will be many changes in the materials used in batteries etc as more research is done. Manganese and even magnesium are now coming into play.
