Hi (westaussie)
I don't think they will join up.
That is what I stated last night.
I went into the similarities of ore only because,BRM was basically described as trash ore and needed putting down like a sick animal.
I then went on to show similarities of infrastructure available and to point out my thoughts that both were in very good positions with the big companies all around them.
Also at this stage there is not a lot of difference in the grade of ore, even if UMC's main aim at present is higher grade iron ore and BRM are concentrating on their lower grade detrital iron ore that comes very close to UMC's high grade average grade after benificiation.
For the press to then report a merger was on the cards because similarities were spoken about is very bad press and only reporting on what they wanted to report instead of reporting the full text of the post's.
Regards
Westcott.
