Mathematically though, you can not sell more cans when the number of customers available is shrinking.

If A2M IF is now available in more MBS stores (larger footprint) where it wasn't available before, it may in fact receive greater market penetration through an increase in new customers that previously bought another brand as A2M IF was not available until now in their local MBS store - just sayin'
