In addition to all the other superb attributes Dr. Gittleson brings to the company, the timing of her appointment will hopefully enable her to participate in the EMA and the following FDA negotiations where her experience of both the Australian industry and government regulatory environments and all her other achievements at CSL will appreciably add to the status of the companies representation and thus their chance of achieving their objectives at these vital negotiations.
