Company Announcements AUSTRALIAN STOCK EXCHANGE SALES FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2004 The Directors of Harvey Norman Holdings Limited are pleased to announce that sales from the franchised “Harvey Norman” stores, commercial divisions and other sales outlets in Australia, New Zealand, Slovenia and Ireland (excluding Singapore) totalled $3.67 billion for the year ended 30 June 2004 compared to $3.17 billion for the year ended 30 June 2003, an increase of 15.9%. Like for like sales for the year ended 30 June 2004, when compared to the year ended 30 June 2003, have increased by 9.9%. Sales for the franchised “Harvey Norman” stores, commercial divisions and other sales outlets in Australia, New Zealand, Slovenia and Ireland (excluding Singapore) for the period 1 July 2004 to 18 July 2004, when compared to the same eighteen (18) days for 2003 have increased by 16.3% During the financial year, sixteen (16) stores were opened in Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.
