In the 1 May 09 update, GSK announced it takes 12 to 14 weeks to ramp up production to 60 million packs per annum rate.
The last UK order of 10.8million packs was estimated to be worth $18m royalties to BTA. 60 million packs is about $100 m royalties. Taking into consideration the 12 to 14 weeks ramp up period, the royalties for the next six months is worth say between $30 million to $50 million. From memory, I think there are only 5 years of the patent left. At $100million per year, therefore the total royalties for 5 years is $500 million.
Please explain how in the next six months BTA can become a multi billion company given the above estimated income,
