The damn options have caused a distraction from all the FANTASTIC things that are happening with this company.
I would like to ask (all serious investors) whether they would have prefered to have offered Martin Rogers a salary of say $1.5M or the options that we have been talking about.
I am very happy with the options offer, because he will only benefit if he delivers. If he doesn't deliver he will get a big fat zero. Am I being unrealistic when I say that he CANNOT sell before Cvac reaches commercialisation. IF he tried to sell the price would collapse immediately. So what good would it do him? Please, (all serious investors) either agree with me or show me where my logic is wrong.
I think it's fantastic the Rogers and others have gone for the POTENTIALLY HUGE reward option rather than demanding dollars up-front.
For heavens sake let's stop being small minded and get ourselves bogged down by the effect of share dilution with the allocation of these options. IF Cvac gets to commercialisation we will no longer be talking about a $24m capitilisation company. I am almot frightened to place a figure because I will probably under estimate it. However, I suspect that it will be incredibly HUGE.
PLEASE RESPOND TO MY LOGIC.
