there are quite few ways to invest, in a company,



fully paid ordinary shares,

bonus issues,

rights issues,

preference shares,

convertible notes,

instalment reciepts,

in my opinion, if you are new to investing, then stick with company shares only,

if you cant make money buying and selling shares, then you have no hope of making money doing anything else,

in a nut shell, options have an expiry date of x amount of time, 12 months, 2 years, 3 years, if you dont convert your options to shares you lose that money in a puff of smoke, gone, asta lavista baby, wipe out,

shares on the other hand will last forever as long as the company never goes into administration,

stay with shares until you understand every rule of the sharemarket,

dont be scared to ask questions mate, there are those of us that have more brains than a peanut,
