I read that the the Huntington's disease antisense drug was the largest opportunity in late pipeline for Ionis - shares fell 21% upon breaking news. I agree that the reaction from Ionis would be 'egad, what else is in our late pipeline'?
The reaction from Roche who have made major investments in gene therapy and RNA therapeutics would be 'egad, what's in the Ionis pipeline that does work'. Roche must be looking and wondering if the constellations are in alignment.
