The football world has changed dramatically. Following autopsies of recently deceased players the brain damage from continual head knocks is there for all to see. Class actions are already being spoken if by certain people in the legal profession and the AFL , like other codes has a legal responsibility to do all they can to protect players from preventable injuries . Dangerfield is a smart person and he will know you cannot hit someone in the head whether intentional or otherwise .
My two sons are past the age of playing football however I would not want to see any of my family on the receiving end of some of the injuries suffered in the past by head tackles & / or punches or elbows .
