There has been so much drivel in these threads, in a FA thread, that information is lost and the same questions get asked pages down. Anyway, I'll just reattch two posts here.

1. This post deals with the issue of synthetic versus spherical graphite cited above. 50/50 looks like is the way forward in terms of the combination of synthetic and spherical graphite in the anode - refer Post #: 51768438 for further information.

2. This post below deals with battery types. The predominant battery going forward will be NCM batteries (and they require graphite in the anode). - refer Post #: 51847920 for information Just to provide additional context, the graph below comes from a PLS Ann of May 2020.



So we are clear, lithium hydroxide is essentially used in producing batteries such as NCM 8:1:1, with battery types also detailed in another pic in the embedded post above. Lithium carbonate is what is used in the chemical conversion process to lithium chloride and then metal for solid state batteries btw. You can see that a lot of the installed capacity proposed growing forward will be hydroxide based, so if you install that well your battery types lend themselves to NCM is my point (and/or batteries using hydroxide as the base). SSB's and a number of the other battery types quoted are still in conceptual stages as well is the point.

As to SP targets, I have previously given mine leveraging of the feasibility studies themselves here, so I'll leave it at that.
