Congratulations to long term holders who saw the potential of ALC right back when it listed and held strong in the face of some tough downward share price pressure.
And welcome aboard to new holders. This story still has a long way to play out. The share price will go up, down and sideways for a little while in the 30s to consolidate before the next leap forward.
Timing the market to make a few pips is tricky with a growth stock like ALC. Don’t get caught on the wrong side of the next announcement which could be today, tomorrow or in two months time.
The risk/reward ratio on this stock is about as good as it gets - cash reserves, Directors with skin in the game buying on market, tight register, market scalability, excellent management who care about shareholders, great comms, COVID acceleration of digital health adoption, cash flow positive, recurring revenue base, growing evidence that the products work and are valued by frontline staff not just hospital administration (very important!), etc, etc
This stock has flown under the radar, but that is now changing. When the big funds start buying in we could see fireworks or a steady accumulation strategy. My guess is the latter approach will be taken, including some large parcels of off market transfers from some of the top 5 holders who are nearing retirement age and deserve some reward for building the foundations of a successful company.
