gpt has $2.4bn due by the end of the year. it was about $2.1bn but it has blown out by $300m for some reason. Might be something to do with exchange rates.
another $2bn is due in 2012 in case you are interested.
the first raising might have bagged gpt with $800m and this one may get us $1.2bn
so I think they may still have to come up with another $400m
kennethgalbraith the entitlement offer booklet states
we now have liquidity to fully fund all commitments through to 31 December 2010, including $2.4 billion of debt maturing over this period.
You have misstated their position.
