Certainly there must be many new articles of legislation and regulation, applying to mine development that can be now accessed, in a 'cut and paste' method.. The hard work having been completed.
One the problems to overcome with near mine development is the delineation of the Protected Phnom Prich Park boundary. Moving the boundary of the park to allow the area of the Okvau license took a lot of time.
To allow near mine development, the park boundary has to be moved again. This will come under the scrutiny of certain NGOs in Cambodia.
It is possible that more distant tenements, such as Memot, Okthung & Preak Khlong may be quicker to develop.
I had prevously speculated that a gold operation in West Africa was under consideration. Could RareX (REE) now be under consideration? Simon Lee has just become a substantial holder.
