"The global lithium concentrate output is expected to be 1.86 million in 2021. Tons, the lithium carbonate equivalent is 233,000 tons, and the demand is 251,000 tons of lithium carbonate equivalent. It is expected that there will be a shortage of about 150,000 tons in the lithium concentrate market." - shortage in 2021, not 2023 or later.
"At present, three lithium mines in Western Australia are in a state of suspension. Among them, the production capacity of Altur is 220,000 tons/year, Alita is 160,000 tons/year, Wodgina is 750,000 tons/year, and the total is 1.13 million tons/year, which is approximately 14. The supply of 10,000 tons of LCE. However, Wodgina is controlled by Albemarle and there is no restart plan for the time being, which will have little impact on the whole year."
