Not true, Eastwest101. In 1991 I had a briefacse sized lump that would run out of charge overnight. By 1996 it was pocket-sized and would last more than a day... and most people in business were using them. It may have taken a little longer for the huge uptake in personal use but the mobile phone was very well established over twenty years ago. The uptake of BEV's will be similar. It will happen a lot quicker than we anticipate and it will not be determined by Australia's attitude or actions but by the rest of the developed world.
