does anyone know if you can get stats on a day's trading to tell the no. of shares traded by buyers chomping the offer side as against sellers doing the opposite
- it would be heavily weighted in the former I'd say
- still index tracking instos getting their compulsory weightings by the look
- trying to do it by constant little chomps - always an odd sort of number (hands up who here has ever felt the urge to buy say 16859 shares in a company rather than 15000 or 20000) and at the end of the day they always make sure the closing auction pushes it down (usually done pretty cheaply in terms of share numbers)to give a lower starting point for the next day

no idea how you could work out when they have had their fill though - if anyone has a link to the data, you're help would be appreciated

would love a big NSE-I1 result out soonish to really get them scrambling!!
