Russ yes I do it this way presently but what has been causing me a lot of grief is when I keep adding more to existing holdings and then sell different quantities again. It’s worse when this is repeated often so the buy quantity and sell quantities do not line up and my accountant has informed me to just average these but I believe that the ATO prefer the way that I currently do the math which is remove the sells from the buys that are first in the queue.
This has been time consuming especially with BBI/BEPPA and would appreciate if anyone knows another solution.
