there was an article in the Australian today about CSL having a $10B war chest to go after acquisitions and stakes in companies over the next 6-12 months to grow earnings + invest in the future
Would they be the best partner to get our product into global markets, maybe, maybe not but how about a 25% minority stake or more importantly a distribution deal using CSL clinics globally.
unlikely but you need to remember that CSL has same market cap as CBA (circa $100B from memory) so plenty of firepower.
