It is certainly a relevant thing, nearly every diligent investor I'm aware of would do some kind of assessment of an asset in a social context in the current climate.
The fundamentals go both ways here as well.
So the financing is going to have to come from somewhere, and this will likely yield more short-term negative price movement.
After the hair-cut is complete it may again become a more attractive buying opportunity.
