Tell that to anyone who bought a property in northern QLD, NT or WA - Have been underwater for decades. People never factor in stamp duty (both ways), real estate agent fees, maintenance & repairs, council rates etc. into their 'amazing property investment' - The only thing that makes it half decent is leverage (Which you can use on shares too).
Regardless, I'd rather to be invested in CSL, or a quality company like Appen than a 7 figure fibro shack.
