Like your out of the box thinking on this one, always good to think through all of the possibilities rather than the one most obvious (or supported).

In saying this however I think the false bottom proposition is unlikely, or at least from the perspective of the 70m placement holders.

Since the placement was listed (16/4), over 200m shares have been traded in CXY, well and truly above its usual trading pattern. I would suggest therefore that the fortunate 'inner circle' who received the placement would have well and truly sold, if they were so inclined to take a quick profit.

Still a valuable alternative to the current view, I hope you continue to weigh in when the conversation gets too one sided!
