re: Ann: FORMER DIAMOND OPEN CUT MINE IDENTIF... Well, its possible those sellig now have long memories or they are just selling on fact - which is fine.
However, I think its possible there will be another announcement quite soon, as in this announcement they said "A 0.5 to 1 metres thickness of similar rocks, containing sparse small rounded pebbles, is preserved on the base of the pit, and is now being sampled to determine the quality of the diamonds mined, and the grade at the base of the deposit" - meaning they are waiting on results for another sample.
Also, tellingly, those "small rounded pebbles" indicate a river system (hence the traces of gold?) and the last time I read about river systems and diamonds, it was the Bow River diamond find in the NT (downstream from the Argyle diamond mine!).
Many will sell, but I'm holding for more news but by all means DYOR!
