Btw @Moneymaker1979 if you take note of when this took off, the 12th March, it was the day the index rebalances were announced. I might be wrong but it looks a lot like a fund or two were caught off guard and had to buy up their positions after the announcement. These are index funds, they don't buy stocks with a view to profit, they buy them because they are in the index and their funds match the index. So once they've done buying, the bid disappears
