I am not really sure what Scorpio is saying and why his post warrants 43 +s.

My personal experience with UMC has been excellent.

For example, when UMC released their long awaited drill results in October 2007, that day, just after the announcement, I spent 20 minutes talking to Jim Richards on the phone. And I am a small shareholder.

Jim was jumping out of his skin about Railway and when I said the drill results were disappointing, he instructed me how to calculate tonnage. He said print out the announcement and go over it carefully. He taught me 1km x 1km x 1 metre thick x 60% grade = 3M tonnes.

Barry is cool. I have talked to him on multiple occassions and he always returns my calls when he is not in, guarranteed.

Then there is gruff Matty Hogan. Only spoken to him twice but he does not mess around. When I asked about Yandi (before the drilling) he replied: "If there is any iron ore left". He was straight and not ramping anything up.

This week I received two return calls within five minutes. The directors were busy but in the afternoon both Matt and Barry phoned.

As I said, I am not sure what Scorpio is talking about.

Every iron ore company is down. Look at ARH, GBG, MMX or BRM who have either JV partners or high cash reserves.

UMC will put itself on the map. It did not require PR/marketing to reach $2.80 previously and will not again.

Just face it. RIO, BHP, etc, have cut back production by millions of tonnes.

    We can only hold.
