Much has been posted about m'gmt, which is everyones own perogative. IMO it is inefficient to debate if they are good or not. But alternatively, much has been talked about UBS with little fruit being dropped from the tree.
Here is a simple multiple choice question for each of you regarding UBS' appointment.
Was UBS appointed because: a) it is negotiating on behalf of UMC to third parties for the sale of either the company or tenement
b) it is advising UMC on any deal presented to UMC by a third party for either the sale of the company of tenement
c) UMC appointed UBS to assist with the large holders sale of shares ie deephaven, to a third party, then capping the share price so that the third party can negotiate the purchase of THX's shares in UMC, so that the combined purchase tips that third party over 20%.
Interested to here all and sundries thoughts. Maybe PR is the least of m'gmts worries?!?!?!
