it is certainly not a bad thing, necessarily. Buy back will increase dividends for remaining stock assuming all else is the same. Or perhaps they think the current pricing is cheap or close to it given future outlook / potential. If that is the case it is a smart move indeed. Watching this closely but early days for myself.
