    Osi,

I haven't seen anything from the Biden administration that even remotely looks like collaboration. Biden has said something along the lines that he will act on the advice given to him without question (differentiating himself from Trump) so we are about to see what the various competing deep state factions want.

If we are looking for hints, the narratives spread by the mainstream media are a good place to start. For starters it looks like "they" want China weakened by terrorist groups in Xinjiang which obviously is not going to happen no matter how much the useful idiots whine about human rights and so on.

Coincidentally I noticed in the local newspaper today a swipe at China mentioning they are preparing for war. They are preparing alright, but it's to defend themselves from a country which has started numerous recent conflicts and which has a large number of military bases surrounding China.

If the USA wants collaboration they firstly have to earn the trust of China, and that the US political system is capable of maintaining that trust, and that's going to take a long time if recent history is any indication. A good start would be to portray the Uighur issue for what it is, an issue of national security for China.

Don't hold your breath waiting for that. The US would lose a lot of face if they changed direction 180 degrees right now and started to genuinely look for collaboration. Could they do it?

The only thing certain is that the news media are going to sell a lot of papers/clicks in the coming years as the declining empire dangerously flails around in despair.

BTW, I hope it doesn't work out that way! Nobody will win if US missiles start coming through conference room windows, as you mentioned previously.
