Yes your memory is correct I think. I remember John and Kevin saying there was another area nearby that was structurally similar to Nolans bore. They had a theory that the formation of the deposit was related to fluids in a 'soft' zone being compressed and channeled by surrounding 'hard' rocks - kind of like a pincer. It was just a theory, who can really say what happened hundreds of millions of years ago, but they reckoned there was another very similar area nearby...that's about the extent of my recollection.
