we thought telstra was being privatised...our interests would predominate
govts..both labor and lib...had other ideas...bait and switch...one way or t'other telstra would remain a utility and political plaything..take our money, then put the screw in
sol was run out of town for sticking up for us...now govt has nice little poodles occupying telstra mgt positions....they will play nicey and give up our interests when told to do so
it's all small beer here, mate...big country, small minds, closed shop, only way you get to play is play by govt rules...australia isn't a democracy..it's auction politics and there's plenty of hands out
i'm heartsick about telstra..my rse hrts from the reaming it's taken...about ready to give it up...there's buckleys nbn will be built any time soon and less chance telstra will be a part of it because this is a govt that doesn't like free markets
