rogers attending asco ?

Opinions on whether Mr Rogers is back from US ?

Find it hard to imagine that he would not be attending ASCO (American Society for Clinical Oncology) next week.

Primary focus on cancer drugs/therapies and from what I understand this year the focus will be mostly on the smaller biotech companies who will get a chance to get themselves noticed.

I don't think the "A" for American limits the members/participants to only American biotech.

In the report, Adam Feuerstein (senior biotech columnist @ realmoney.com) says that Wall Street pays big attention to ASCO. Two biotechs discussing their data are OncoGenex (phase II prostate cancer drug that some are comparing to Dendreon's) and OxiGene (in phase II testing for their ovarian cancer drug).

Given that there is this obviously competition out there, albeit that the methods may be different than which Dendreon and Prima share, one would think that Mr Rogers would see ASCO as one of the most crucial platforms for 'getting noticed'.

Thoughts ?....
