Owning 88 shares is a little bit like owning a house with a huge back yard in a booming suburb. It's not so much what (Merlin) my house is worth, but what I can sell my entire block for! My property would now have significant value based on its development potential and that is what is driving the price imo. The region we are drilling clearly has favourable geology and therefore investors are backing future neighbouring discoveries, so where the SP finishes is anyone's guess?
The American threads projecting $6-10 are clearly ridiculous, but with a positive outcome at Merlin those with the courage to hold will be rewarded and I'm 1000% sure this will end in a buyout so hardly time to be an observer.
For those of you that made money and sold out congratulations, but let's hope for a gusher on Tuesday and then everyone will be a winner !
