I think the answer is that MAK will get the funding needed to progress the project. The doom sayers have been saying all along that MAK will not be able to get funding in this environment, for the project - so now funding is virtually a certainty, the risk has dropped considerably - making MAK very attractive.
I would not be surprised if insto's were buying in - the trading seems to include a lot of small (BOT) trading, mixed in with some reasonable orders. In any case, obviously there is accumulation going on...
